With Big Brother Housemates SL TV Show Slated For 2019… AYV Gets Bigger

 

The arguably leading Television Station in Sierra Leone, African Young Voices (AYV) Television of the AYV Media Empire in collaboration with the leading mobile telecommunications company, Africell Sierra Leone has formerly announced that by popular demand, the two institutions have decided to host the Big Brother Housemates Sierra Leone TV show come February next year.

Unveiling the TV show at the AYV Conference Room on Wesley Street, Tower Hill, Freetown past Friday, 10th November, 2018, the Managing Director of AYV, Dr. Ezekiel Duramani Lakoh disclosed that the two institutions decided to venture into such an entertainment project following an overwhelming demand from members of the public shortly after the recent successful conclusion of the widely-viewed Big Sister Reality TV Show.

With a mouth-watering star prize of one hundred million Leones at stake for the ultimate winner, Dr. Lakoh disclosed that the two companies are investing a whooping sum of US$500,000.00.   “As I speak, the cheque is ready,” the AYV MD said confidently, adding that the show is slated for Valentine’s Day, 14th February, 2019.

Dr. Lakoh referred to their partners, Africell Sierra Leone as brothers. “We think alike and act alike,” he said, adding that with the support of the telecommunications company, the sky will be their limit.

Earlier, the Operation Manager at AYV, Ms Stella Bangura and Africell’s Abdul Aziz Kamara had given a brief overview of their companies with regards their achievements and what they intend doing individually and collectively.

The programme was chaired by seasoned broadcaster, Phebe Swill. Also in attendance was the Minister of Youth Affairs, Mohamed Orman Bangura.
