To Boost Agricultural Produce & Private Sector… Trade Ministry Bags US$10M

The World Bank Country Manager in Sierra Leone, Gayle Martin has disclosed in Freetown that the US$10,000,000.00 (Ten million United States Dollars) grant to the Ministry of Trade and Industry is to help boost agricultural produce and to strengthen the private sector.

The Country Manager furthered that the grant financing will help improve agriculture in the country and to produce standard products for the world market, noting that it will also aim at strengthening agricultural institutions to improve in productivity.

He noted that the grant would also bolster some level of standard products and competitiveness in the market.
