Theft At Bamoi Hotel Provisions & Condiments Stolen

A Security Guard attached at Bamoi Hotel Aberdeen, Abraham Mansaray has made his first appearance before Magistrate Hannah Bonnie of Pademba Road Court No. 1 on two counts charges of store breaking and larceny contrary to the laws of Sierra Leone.

According to the charge sheet, it was alleged by the Prosecution on count one that the accused, Ibraham Mansaray on Monday 22nd June, 2020, at Bamoi Hotel Aberdeen, Freetown, broke and entered in the store of Bamoi Hotel and stole therein provisions worth over fifty million Leones belonging to the said hotel.

In count two, the Prosecution also alleged that the accused on that same date stole condiments worth the same price as at fifty million Leones.

After the charges were read, the accused who was unrepresented denied making plea to the charges.

He was refused bail by Magistrate Bonnie and the matter was adjourned to 6th of July 2020 for the Prosecution to lead it first witness.
