Solar Light Theft 2 Remanded

Magistrate Sahr Kekura of the Port Loko Magistrate Court on Wednesday, 18th May, 2016, refused to grant two suspects bail for the second time for allegedly stealing Solar Lights.
The two suspects, Ibrahim Bangura Alias Hilla of 49 Airport Ferry Road Masoila and Mohamed Lamin Kamara of Malokoh Village made their first appearance on the 11th May 2016.
The two suspects were remanded for the second time for unlawful possession contrary to Section 13(1) of Cap 37 amended by Section 5 of Act 6 of 1981.
According to particulars of the offence, the two accused, Ibrahim Bangura and Mohamed L. Kamara were arrested at Kaloharia checkpoint in Loko Masama Chiefdom by Inspector M. Jusu and team.
The particulars added that the two accused were in possession of two solar panels with serial numbers 131203279 CFE47A and 161203219D25F2 suspected to have been stolen.
The matter comes up for hearing on the 8th of June, 2016.
Sergeant 8483 AZ Conteh is prosecuting the matter.
