SLPP MP Appeals To Government

Member of Parliament of Sierra Leone People’s Party (SLPP) representing Constituency 092 in the Bonthe District, Hon Alice Jebbeh Kumabeh has appealed to the Government and the Ministry of Fisheries to revamp the fishing complex in Bonthe which, according to her, is well equipped but has been abandon over the years.

Speaking to this press, Hon, Alice Kumabah noted that the said fishing complex is a very significant income generating components which must be revamped.

According to the MP, if this fishing complex is revamped,  it will generate revenue for the government and at the same time,  create employment facility for the people in the Bonthe Island as most of them depend on fishing for there livelihood.

Meanwhile, Hon Kumabah is reported to have contributed immensely to the development of her Constituency and she is also reportedly one of the vibrant lobbyists in the House of Parliament and articulately contributes to debates in the Well of Parliament as she makes meaningful contribution on various Bills.
