Speaking in Freetown after the visit, former VP Sam Sumana said that the visit to his former boss was a sign of appreciation for the good working relationship that existed between them.

According to the ex -VP, rumors doing the rounds in social media are mere fabrication noting that if people follow what is written about them on social media they will die an untimely death. He stated that as a man of peace, he has forgiven the author of the said article and hope to go public very soon about his next moves.

Asked whether he is ready to return back, the VP said that when the time comes, he will disclose his intentions but that for now he is still the Leader of the Coalition for Change (C4C) Party.
