Petroleum Directorate Woos Investors

The new Director General of Petroleum Directorate, Tim Kabba has led of team of petroleum experts to the United Kingdom in order to woo potential investors to the Sierra Leone oil and gas sector.

During their visit the Director General of Petroleum Directorate and team met with some of the existing and potential partners and expressed government’s readiness for business in oil and gas sector.

According to the DG, the new strategy is meant to revitalize what had nearly become moribund oil and gas sector and that they were going to use the visit to attract the right and genuine investors into the country.

The Directorate also met with GETECH/ERA, the geological and geophysical data marketing and promoting partners and renewed their commitment towards investing in the country. They also held discussion at Chatham House and other places during the visit.
