According to a press release from the SLP, one investigation will be led by the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) with the mandate to look at the circumstances, motive and any other relevant information that necessitated the incident.

The Complaint, Discipline and Internal Investigations Department (CDIID), the release added, will look at the conduct of the police officers on deployment at the Judge’s residence.

It could be recalled that prior to the said burglary, the Judge on several occasions has raised alarm over telephone threats on his life by anonymous texters and callers when he commenced probing into alleged corrupt practices by the past administration at his constitutional instrument 64 Room-1 of the Commissions of Inquiry (COI) on Jomo Kenyata Avenue, New England.
