In a recent meeting between GSM Company and the Office of the First Lady, the management of Orange Telecommunication Company promised to bolster the Office of the First Lady particularly in projects connected to women and children.

According to the Head of Orange, Madam Aminata Kane, the purpose of the meeting was to discuss some of the company’s corporate social responsibilities plans with the First Lady and to, at the same time, know how they will be able to collaborate with her office. Madam Kane described the meeting as a very fruitful one, adding that they are very much ready to work with her office.

In her response, the First Lady, Madam Fatima Bio thanked representatives of GSM companies present at the meeting for their contribution in the telecommunication industry in the country. She showered praises on Orange mobile company for its role in its contribution to national development. She promised to cooperate with Orange, noting that her Office has lots of projects relating to women and children which, she said, she plans to embark on. She referred to her educational support programme which, she said, is one of the areas she would need the contribution and collaboration of GSM Companies.
