The Director General of the National Civil Registration Authority (NCRA), Mr. Mohamed Mubashir Massaquoi has warned that all civil and public servants who fail to be verified will have their names deleted from government’s payroll.

He said there are so many civil and public servants who have still not reported for verification as according to him provision is made for every worker to be verified which is why, he said, the process was  decentralized. He added that after they would have finished the process, they would handover the list of verified workers to the Minister of Finance for subsequent approval or deletion where necessary.

The NCRA Boss also made mention of the following institutions that are yet to verify their workers – National Revenue Authority (NRA), Office of National Security (ONS), National Commission for Social Action (NaCSA) and Sierra Leone Roads Safety Authority (SLRSA).

Mr. Massaquoi concluded that the Accountant General has been asked to furnish the Authority with the list of workers in all the aforementioned institutions.
