Justice Georgewill Rejects Bench Warrant

By Thomas S. Kembay

The presiding Commissioner for Constitutional Instrument 64, Justice Biobele Georgewill on Thursday 11th April, 2019 rejected State Counsel’s request for a bench warrant to be issued for the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Street Life Family, Alhaji Ibrahim Kamara aka Sheik.

The rejection for a bench warrant comes following the request of State Counsel, Oladipo Robin Mason disclosure that over fifty million Leone (Le50m) was given to Sheik who is considered a person of interest to the Commission for the Youths in Drainage project but that he failed to appear before the Commission for questioning. However, Justice Biobele Georgewill demanded that his deputy be summoned to appear before the Commission.

It could be recalled that Alhaji Ibrahim Koroma was summoned by Justice Biobele along two others including Milton Coker of All Stars Music and Esther Mykel of Music for Girls for allegation of receiving money running into hundreds of millions of Leones for the Youths in Drainage project under the Ministry of Youth Affairs in the past government.

Sheik is alleged to have received Le50m, Collabo Le 500m and Esther Le300m.

Esther of Music for Girls  and Milton Coker aka Collabo of All Stars honor the COI invitation and were before the Commission on Thursday, 11th April, while Sheik of the Street Life Family never showed up for which the State Council requested for bench warrant to be slammed on him but was however overturned by Justice Georgewill.
