JFK Congratulates Margai

The Former Attorney General and Minister of Justice, Joseph Fitzgerald Kamara has reportedly congratulated his successor, Lawyer Charles Francis Margai on his appointment by the new government to serve as the country’s Attorney General in such capacity.

In a public message sent out to his supporters, the former AG expressed delight for the appointment of the former presidential flagbearer for the People’s Movement for Democratic Change (PMDC), adding that as a senior colleague, he believes the new A.G will live up to the expectations of the people. He also advised the incoming A.G to make sure that he pushes three key bills that are already in their completion stages.

The three legislative bills mentioned by JFK are the Revised Criminal Procedure Act 2018, the Arbitration Act 2018 and the domestication of the New York convention. He wishes the A.G well and the best of luck.
