He made this disclosure while updating the media at the usual government press briefing at the Ministry of Information and Communications, 7th floor, Youyi Building, Brookfield, Freetown last, Thursday 16th August 2018.

According to the NRA CG, when he took over as head of the Authority, the daily revenue generation was between six to seven billion Leones but that it has now increased to twenty to twenty six billion Leones per day. This, he said, was achieved through instituting mechanism that blocked the flow of Leakages in the system. “My dream is to work in line with the aspiration and determination of His Excellency, President Bio to move the GDP from 11% to 20% within the next five years,” said Dr. Jibao, noting that with that the country will become economically stable.

Government, he said, has been able to meet expenditures and paid salaries of workers from domestic revenues generated by the Authority, as according to him, the government has not received a single cent from donor partners.
