Heineken Africa Foundation In Town -Tours Projects Site

Manager of the Heineken Africa Foundation (HAF), Susunue Giele has last Wednesday, 31st October, 2018, completed a three-day site tour of the company projects implemented by the Sierra Leone Brewery Limited (SLBL).

The visit of Manager Giele, reports state, is to, among other things, obtain firsthand information on the impact of the company’s corporate social responsibility on the lives of the people within the communities where it operate.

During her visit, he reportedly discovered that HAF through SLBL has sponsored several community development projects as part of its corporate social responsibility to communities in the Eastern part of Freetown which  include building and rehabilitation of schools, supply of school and learning materials, provision of water and sanitation facilities, construction of community hospitals, and donations of Ambulances, among others.

She was accompanied to the various project sites by SLBL Company Secretary who also doubles as the company’s African Manager, Albert Ojo Collier. Also present was the Member of Parliament representing the community where the company operates, Hon Alpha Bah.

The HAF Manager was also taken to Yele, Tonkolili District, Northern Province as part of his tour of the company’s implemented projects.
