Fullah Town Community Extols Foreign Minister

Residents of Rowe Street in the Fullah Town Community have showered praises on the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Nabeela Farida Tunis for her development initiative within the Fullah Town Community.

The Rowe Street residents expressed their appreciation through this medium, following the completion of the rehabilitation of Rowe Street which was personally undertaken by the Minister.

According to one elderly resident of Rowe Street, Massa Rogers, the self help project undertaken by the Foreign Minister witness a huge transformation to the entire street, as people can now walk the street safe and under a solar street light. She noted that before the rehabilitation was done, many elderly people will dare not walk the street at night as it was dilapidated to the extent that people incurred serious injuries at night.

Another resident, Abu Bakarr Kamara told The Exclusive that the gesture of the Foreign Minister is one that should be applauded as, according to him, she is the first personality that has rehabilitated that street for over decades.

“We can now play safely, move things easily, especially fragile properties and carryout many other social outdoor events,” he said.

The engineer of the project, Alvin told this press that he was contacted by the Minister to do the self-help road work construction, adding that the project cost tens of millions of Leones and that it provided temporally jobs for youths in that area.

He called on the residents to use the newly rehabilitated street with utmost care.
