Free Education Bites 2 Head Masters


The Director of Operations in the Sierra Leone Police (SLP), AIG Elizabeth A. Turay has disclosed that the Regional Headquarters North-West is investigating three Head Masters from the R.C Primary, Wesleyan Primary and District Education Committee primary schools in Kabala.

The three were arrested by the police for conspiracy and corrupt practices of extorting monies from parents and pupils to collect NPSE results for 2017/2018 academic year.

She said all three have made confessional statements to the police and that they are currently in police custody assisting with the investigation.

According to the Director of Community Affairs, AIG Kalia Edward Sesay, ahead of the new school year, they have developed a task force that will involve police officers CSOs and other stakeholders to monitor the free quality education scheme throughout the country.
