For Constitutional Review… APC Names 25

A reformed minded main opposition All People’s Congress (APC) on Thursday 22nd November 2018 set in motion the process of reviewing its 1995 Constitution as a stepping stone towards enhanced democratization of the party’s internal politics.

It could be recalled that a group of ideological dissidents within the APC who call themselves the National Reformation Movement (NRM) after the party’s March national presidential election defeat started agitating for reform of the party; including a call for review of the APC 1995 constitution.

In consultation with NAC at a meeting at the party headquarters in Freetown, the APC leadership openly agreed that the party needed reforms in its internal politics. The motion was endorsed by the Party Chairman and Leader, ex-President Dr Ernest Bai Koroma and the National Advisory Council (NAC).

National Deputy Chairman and Leader, Hon. Alhaji Minkailu Mansaray at the party’s headquarters on Old Railway Line in Brookfields inaugurated the 25-man review panel that includes principally, Ambassadors Dauda S.
