Bintumani III… APC Says No!

The All People’s Congress (APC) party yesterday, Tuesday, 21st May 2019 unanimously decided in an emergency meeting held at their party head office on Old Railway Line, Brookfields, Freetown not to participate in the three-day Bintumani III Conference scheduled to commence tomorrow, 23rd May, 2019.

According to the National Publicity Secretary of the APC, Mr. Cornelius Deveaux, “what will a conference on national cohesion on peace mean to the people of Tonko Limba whose 14 years old son was allegedly gunned down by a military personnel attached to the Chief Electoral Commissioner, N’fa Alie Conteh and up till today, the perpetrators have not been brought to justice; What will a conference on national cohesion mean to them when their votes in a Local Council election was blatantly stolen by NEC and given on a silver platter to the SLPP?”

Mr. Deveaux described the Bintumani III as a “fake and deceptive exercise in futility, an economic waste and simply a way for this SLPP government to continue pilfering state resources like drunken sailors.”
