ATTEMPTED MURDER! -1 Indian National Nabbed

The Head of Media and Public Relations of the Sierra Leone Police (SLP), Supt. Brima Kamara has disclosed that they are having in their custody one Indian national and two Sierra Leoneans who allegedly attempted to kill one Bai Koroma, a businessman who lives at Guard Street, East  of Freetown on Sunday, 17th March, 2019.

The caretaker of the building where the Indian lives, Alias Jalloh said he was inside his house when he heard a loud noise at the 5th floor of the building and went to enquire what was happening.

He continued that when he pressed the door bell and nobody answered, he then used his spare key and entered and met the Indian national who told him they were packing some goods. He said he was not satisfied with the explanation and suddenly, he said a young man run and past him with his clothes drenched with blood.

The caretaker furthered that he immediately told a boy who was downstairs to lock the main entrance of the house.

He said he entered the house for the second time and saw a man lying hopelessly in a pool of blood.

Supt. Kamara averred that there was blood spattered in the bathroom and parlor.

The matter, he said is currently under investigation while the victim is responding to medical treatment.
