As It Set To Submit Report Next Week… APC 9-Man Committee Blasted

Impeccable sources from the main opposition All People’s Congress (APC) have disclosed that the nine-man committee  set up by the party to look into the causes of the party’s defeat in the March 2018 national elections and the way forward would present its findings to the National Advisory Committee  (NAC), next week.

According to the sources, the six-week timeline set for the Committee’s report to be out has elapsed which has led to all sorts of speculations from groups and individuals within the party blaming the leadership and some senior members of manipulating moves to shelve the report.

The sources continued that these developments have left the nine-man committee and the party executive with no option but to present the findings to the National Advisory Council (NAC) which is the second highest decision making body of the party for it perusal and onwards presentation to the general membership and the public.

It could be recalled that quite recently a group of young party members called the National Reformation Movement (NRM) took a swipe at the nine-man committee for what they referred to as failing to deliver on its mandate.

The aim of the NRM is for current National Executive to be removed and give way for a new and dynamic national executive that has the party at heart.
