As He Heads For South-East… KKY Ambushed

The presidential candidate of National Grand Coalition (NGC), Alhaji Dr. Kandeh Kolleh Yumkella and convoy were on Sunday 10th December, 2017 mobbed by supporters and well-wishers at Masiaka on their way to the South-Eastern Region to engage the people on the party symbol and logo and to also get some feedbacks and validation.

It could be recalled that in a news conference organized at the Sierra Leone Association of Journalists (SLAJ) headquarters on Campbell Street, Freetown last Thursday, Alhaji Dr. Kandeh Kolleh Yumkella disclosed that they have taken the NGC to the seven Northern districts of Bombali, Falaba, Kambia, Karena, Koinadugu, Port Loko and Tonkolili.

He further disclosed that in the Northern Region, NGC conveyed series of meetings and also organized a workshop for party officials, noting that things are moving very well and rapidly for the party.

Alhaji Dr. Kandeh Kolleh Yumkella said they have to engage the people in all the nook and cranny of the country to know their priorities before the NGC will come out with its manifesto for the 7th March, 2018 presidential, parliamentary and local council elections.

While the NGC presidential candidate has already taken the party to Kono district in the Eastern Region, his ongoing thank-you tour of the South-East will cover the districts of Kailahun, Kenema, Bo, Moyamba, Pujehun and Bonthe before he will return to Freetown.
