By Aruna Rashed Toma Bangura

The prosecution witness, Augustine Bangura on Monday 8th October continued with his testimony at Court No. 1 presided by Principal Magistrate Mohamed Santigie Bangura, where he was thoroughly cross-examined by the defense counsel with regards the alleged murder of Albert Madison Bio by some members of the Klymax Klub fraternity at Fourah Bay College (FBC), University of Sierra Leone (USL).

The Defence counsel, Lawyer A.S. Marrah, who is representing the 2nd, 3rd and 4th accused, led the defense team that included Lawyers I. Tommy, E.S. Abdulai, A.S. Ndoleh, K.O. Foh, L. Koroma, F. Mansaray and A.M Kamara Macauley.

Lawyer A.S Marrah in his cross-examination asked Augustine Bangura about who was a ‘Kekeh’ rider, whether he never knew the six accused before, the apparels they were putting on and their number on that particular day.

Feeling visibly jittery because of communication barrier, the lead prosecutor, A.J.M. Bockarie Esq. asked the defence counsels to query the witness in his local parlance and the request was honoured.

The lead prosecutor also tried to cross-examine the witness but the presiding Magistrate overruled him.

The matter was however adjourned to 11th October.
