Report reaching The Exclusive intimates that a good number of delegates who took part in the recent North America Conference of the opposition All People’s Congress Party (APC) booed and shouted at the party’s Diaspora Coordinator, Leonard Balogun Koroma for his lackluster attitude towards party activities.

The former Minister of Transport and Aviation was also reportedly stopped from entering the conference hall in Ohio when he materialized at the eleventh hour.

He was however reportedly allowed later to make speech following the intervention of other senior party officials like Dr. Richard Konteh.

Speaking to this press after the event, one of the delegates, Paul A. Kamara said that in recent times, the former Minister who is also a very senior member of party has been absenting himself from some party activities in the Diaspora.

He noted that for the said event, the party Diaspora Coordinator was invited to the three-day event but did not avail himself until few hours before the closing ceremony.

Mr. Kamara also noted that the attitude of the delegates was meant to send a strong message to other senior members of the party who are now shying away from party activities.

According to the APC youths, this is not the first time Mr. Koroma is behaving in such manner and that his continued reckless behavior necessitated such reaction from the irate delegates at the conference.

Meanwhile, the president of the APC North America branch, Joseph Deen Koroma has urged senior party members to be serious as, according to him, this is not the time for party members to hide their faces.
