APC Is Battle Ready -Chairman Pat-Sowe Boasts

By Musa Sesay

Addressing a mammoth crowd of party supporters recently at Mile 6, the Western Area Regional Chairman, Captain Momodu Pat-Sowe has stated that the All People’s Congress (APC) party is battle ready for the 7th March, 2018 national elections.

According Capt. Pat-Sowe, he as Western Area Chairman of the party has never lost an election, adding that the 2018 elections will not be an exception.

He therefore called on party members and supporters to hold the fort when the National Electoral Commission (NEC) declares campaign open in February.

He assured members and supporters of the party that he would ensure that the APC wins all the parliamentary seats in the Western Area just as he did in the 2007 and 2012 President and Parliamentary elections. He boasted that when he ventures out to play politics no opposition stands his way, as according to him, politics is not about intentions but tangible actions.

On his part one of the parliamentary symbol bearers, Mr. Alhassan Cole blasted the opposition for failing to acknowledge and appreciate the good work of the APC party in the last ten years. He noted that this is because they cannot construct roads; they cry for food, because they failed to provide electricity for the people of this country. But the people, he went on, are no longer fools as they would appreciate people and political parties according to their performances.

The President Ernest Bai Koroma led APC government, he said, is the best ever in the history of Sierra Leone.
