80 Students Graduate At CBS

Some eighty students last Saturday, 9th February, 2019 graduated from the College of Business Studies (CBS) in certificate, diploma and Higher National Diploma (HND) programmes at the College located at Old Wharf, Wellington, east of the capital.

In his keynote address, Mr. Dwamani Tarawally congratulated the graduates and advised them to lead a good life that will be beneficial to them and the nation.

“When someone is educated, he/she must be able to contributing to national development,” he said, adding that this is just the beginning of their career path and that life is still ahead of them.

The Director of services at the College of Business Studies, Ahmed Kamara said since the inception of the college they have been offering courses at reasonable and affordable costs. The graduates, he said, have worked very hard but however advised them not limit themselves to certificate courses only.

One of the lecturers of the college, Mr. Jalloh, said the college has played a pivotal role in the education sector since its inception in 1993, adding that the college has produced breeds, both male and female that have done very well in the NCTVA examination.

A former student of the college now  Member of Parliament representing Constituency 116, Hon. Ahmed Mansaray  also made brilliant statement at the event.
